Factory rocker protection is a system, not simply exterior colour. It may include coated steel, primer, seam sealer, stone-chip material, topcoat and internal cavity protection. Blasting deliberately removes some of that system in the agreed area, so the repair and finishing plan must put suitable protection back on every affected face it can reach.
